Introducing METATITLES
Netocrats identify themselves by a new kind of NFT collectible: Metatitles.
A Metatitle is your personal title in the metaverses, verified by the Base blockchain. You can use it however you like – as a nickname, a prestige marker, a literary device, or a role-playing character. Each Metatitle evokes ideas related to the vision of Netocracy – they are designed to capture the spirit of the Information Age and reflect your personality, interests, and aspirations.
Your Metatitle…
is NOT randomly assigned – you get to pick the one that suits you best from a curated list;
can be used as your X (Twitter) or Reddit handle- typed in your social media bio, used as an online status, digital signature, or username;
does not replace your favorite profile pic – in fact, it can complement it perfectly;
Metatitle DEEDS
You can check the authenticity and ownership of a Metatitle without searching blockchain history or marketplace records. Just look at the METATITLE DEED. You can also claim royalties assigned to your metatitle there.
Crafting METATITLES
METATITLES are designed to be linguistically and conceptually engaging. Each Metatitle can tell a story, express a feeling, match your character, or simply amuse you.
Power up the METACOMBINATOR
We built the Metacombinator by collecting huge vocabularies of Metatitle elements – ranks, domains, prefixes, affixes, epithets, modifiers and honorifics - and using them to create the first layer of the Combinator, which makes semantic clusters of these elements. This process is repeated until enough intriguing combinations are found.
Fuse components according to semantic resonance
The second layer of the Metacombinator combines the meanings of the different element clusters with each other following predefined rules, which produces many groups of potential Metatitles. The Metacombinator can currently generate over 50 Billion unique semantic strings, and this number keeps increasing.
Polish with literary skill
Finally, candidates for Metatitles are quality-tested by the most erudite Netocratic minds. Only the most conceptually appealing Metatitles pass this third layer test, at which point they are given final literary touches before being officially approved for minting.
Netocratic FACTIONS
Metatitles are sorted into Factions: sub-communities of Netocracy representing different themes of digital life. At Launch, Metatitles can belong to one of four FACTIONS
Shared ROYALTIES for all Netocrats
The Netocratic Vault collects all royalties from Metatitle sales on external NFT marketplaces, with royalties set at 5% per transaction. As a Metatitle holder, you can claim your share of these collected funds, calculated as:
profit from royalties * (number of owned titles / number of all minted titles)
Your earnings are tied to your ownership period—you can only claim royalties collected while the Metatitle was in your possession.
